Replace this with your Artist StatementMy work is rooted in my own experiences starting from childhood to my break down from spousal abuse and domestic violence. I challenge viewers to stand witness and challenge their world gaze.

We view women, children, and our society through a lens of commodity and prey. By using watercolor and ceramics, I create narrative scenes that allow the viewer to fill in the gaps with your own conclusions, often leaving an unsettled result.

Politicians today who choose to stand with child abusers are what validates my work and drives me to continue creating pieces that connect victims and survivors together. The child staring back at you is a face to the faceless victims who are judged if they are ever to be viewed. I tackle this issue and force viewers to tackle it within themselves.
